Abstract

The results of the two years (2017-18, 2018-19) revealed that the fertigation at 100 % RDF the most effectivefor the growth parameters studied but was on par with 80% RDF and superior over control. Similar trend was observed foryield parameters wherein 100 % RDF recorded the highest equatorial diameter, polar diameter, marketable yield and totalyield which was on par with 80 % RDF with equatorial diameter. The bulbs produced with 100 % RDF were found betterstorer with minimum loss in weight of bulbs and rotten bulbs and was on par with 80 % RDF. The control recorded lowervalues for all the yield parameters. 80 % fertigation helps in improving the growth, yield and quality of Bhima Shakti.
