Abstract

Environmental pollution is the major problem of today's era. Various efforts are being made to reduce environmental pollution by the government, self-help organizations and other institutions but they are least effective. Now everyone is experiencing that it is not possible to get rid of environmental pollution without public participation. Swami Vivekananda had said that religion is the most suitable medium for connecting people with any movement. Shri Krishna is a symbol of the faith of the Indian people and Mahatma Gandhi is the founder of India's independence movement. In this article, the natural attachment to the environment protection of these mystics has been underlined. The views of these mystics for the modern society are the source of inspiration.
