Abstract

Fenugreek (Trigonellafoenum-graecum) commonly known as Methi is an annual herb belonging to family Fabaceae. It is cultivated worldwide as a semiarid crop. It is one of the most important herb in Indian Traditional Medicines System, especially in Ayurveda. Its seeds and leaves have been widely used as spice vegetable and for medicinal purposes various parts of the world.
