Farm Acts-2020 and their impact: perspectives from the grass root

Abstract

The passage of the Farm Acts, 2020 was a historic yet highly debated moment in the history of India. One segment was stating that the farm acts will change everything and all problems plaguing the agriculture sector would be dealt with and the other segment was arguing that the new laws will destroy the agriculture ecosystem. Only time will tell that whether the new laws do good or bad. The research shall bring out that whether the farm acts address the basic problems i.e., access to market and the ability to sell the farm produce in the market. Further, it remains to be observed that whether the laws address the disparity in the society.
